The shared spaces at The Anderson are getting a serious upgrade: we're rolling out WiFi 7, the newest wireless standard, in the property's highest-traffic common areas, starting with the business and coworking lounge. If you work, meet, or hang out in the shared spaces, this one is built for you.

Where you'll find it
WiFi 7 access points are going into the places where a lot of people share the air at once:
- The business & coworking lounge and its focus rooms — the private offices even have wired Ethernet drops
- The lobby and lounge seating
- The fitness center
- Meeting and conference spaces
It all runs on the same property-wide Residents network, so it follows you as you move around.

Why WiFi 7 matters in a busy room
WiFi 7 (technically 802.11be) is not just a bigger number. It is specifically better in crowded spaces, which is exactly the challenge in a coworking lounge full of laptops and calls:
- Multi-Link Operation (MLO). Devices use multiple bands at the same time, so your connection stays fast and steady even when the room is full.
- Wider 320 MHz channels. Roughly double the lane width of WiFi 6, for much higher throughput.
- 4K-QAM. More data packed into every transmission, for faster real-world speeds on devices that support it.
- Lower latency. Snappier video calls, screen shares, and cloud apps, with fewer stalls.

What it feels like
Take a video call in a packed lounge without it dropping. Upload a big deck in seconds. Share your screen in a focus room with zero lag. WiFi 7 is built to keep every device fast when the space is at its busiest, with no fighting for bandwidth.

And in your unit
Your home still has its own dedicated ceiling access point and a wired 10-gig port on your media panel. The WiFi 7 rollout adds top-tier wireless to the shared spaces you use most, so whether you are home or working from the lounge, you are on fast, modern wifi.
